FL Dept. of Professional Regulation vs. Douglas G. McCree, April 20,1989: FL Board of Medicine reprimanded and fined Douglas G. McCree for medical and legal violations. Violations in complaint include: Having a sexual relationship with a patient, using the physician-patient relationship to induce or attempt to induce sexual activity, and gross or repeated malpractice or failure to practice medicine with an acceptable standard of care. The Board fined McCree $5000, and placed his license on probation. The Board also required McCree to practice medicine without compensation for three months, and then perform 1000 hours of uncompensated medical care as a community service for the indigent.
