2015-09-22 Revised Complaint, baby's death -- Jacovino v. Sfakianaki, p. 3, 6-8

Rachael Jacovino was pregnant in 2013, and had a sonogram in July. Dr. Anna Sfakainaki read the sonogram and failed to diagnose a serious problem with the umbilical cord insertion. In November, Rachael Jacovino began to hemorrhage, and required an emergency Cesarean section. Rachel's baby boy, Vincent, suffered a severe brain injury due to the undiagnosed cord condition and vasa previa. Baby Vincent J. Jacovino was born Nov 11, 2013. Baby Vincent underwent painful cooling treatments in an attempt to save his life, but he died only two days after birth. The family sued Dr. Anna Sfakianaki for carelessness and negligence, which caused the death of baby Vincent J. Jacovino. See pages 3, & 6-8.
