Abortionists Leslie King and Ira Spector were sued after botching a medical abortion on their patient Karen Sheppard. The botched abortion caused Sheppard’s son to be born with injuries and disabilities. Karen Sheppard and her son were awarded $4.1 million in a settlement. Dr. Leslie King was disciplined via censure and reprimand; she did not contest the charge of “negligence on more than one occasion.”
