Roe II v. Aware Woman Center for Choice Inc, 6-8-2001
Botched abortion patient "Jane Roe" files a lawsuit against abortionist William Egherman and Aware Woman Center for Choice, alleging injuries after a forced abortion. This was to be "Jane Roe's" third abortion. However, during the procedure she experienced extreme pain, unlike her experience with her two prior abortions. Roe demanded that the abortionist stop the procedure, and call an ambulance. Instead, the doctor ordered four assistants to hold her down while he continued the abortion. Roe was taken by ambulance to an emergency room, where it was discovered that the botched procedure had perforated her uterus and lacerated her colon. Roe was hospitalized to repair her injuries, and remains of the dead fetus were removed from her uterus. She sued the abortionist and clinic under the Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances act, aka F.A.C.E. -
