Ms. Dixon was a 24 year old female who presented to Planned Parenthood on 9/22/22. She had previously delivered a baby in Dec. 2021. She was pregnant when she visited Planned Parenthood and had made a decision to terminate her pregnancy. Her last period was noted to have been on 8/17/22. She had a physical exam and an ultrasound evaluation which revealed a single pregnancy with an estimated gestational age of 8 weeks 5 days. After appropriate counseling she was determined to be an appropriate candidate for elective termination of pregnancy with Mifepristone followed 24-48 hours later by Misoprostol intravaginally. She was appropriately counseled about the risks of the medical abortion and was discharged home.
