Hunter Properties evicts Women's Aid Clinic for failing to pay $50,000 in back rent.

"On March 21, 2016, FDA issued more than 1,300 letters to medical practices in the United States that purchased unapproved prescription drugs and/or injectable devices from TC Medical, an unlicensed supplier that distributed counterfeit Botox found in the United States. On May 7, 2015, TC Medical pleaded guilty to orchestrating a multi-year conspiracy to smuggle misbranded prescription products into the United States." CHICAGO – Illinois regulators have ordered a suburban Chicago clinic to remove references to surgical abortions from its website and pay a $36,000 fine. In October, the clinic lost its abortion clinic license after it was cited for dusty equipment, lack of a supervising registered nurse and failure to perform CPR on a patient who later died.

The clinic administrator returns the clinic's license, and fraudulently claims that the clinic has complied with the terms of the state's discipline.

The IL Dept of Health issues the immediate, emergency suspension of Women's Aid Clinic license, after noting 40 pages of deficiencies and violations, including actions that ultimately led to a patient's death on May 8, 2009.

The Division of Health Care Facilities and Programs sends notice to Women's Aid Clinic, instructing it to: 1) return its physical license, 2) pay a $36,000 fine, and 3) cease and desist from advertising abortion services.

The IL Dept of Public Health sues the Women's Aid Clinic for violating state law, and assesses a $36,000.00 fine for noncompliance.
