In August, the Philadelphia Women’s Center violated multiple reporting requirements under the annual survey including “ensur[ing] the findings of tissue analysis in an abortion performed after the first trimester,” failing to analyze the remains of a 15-week-old aborted child as mandated, discharging patients without a “signed order of a practitioner” and “fail[ing] to document postoperative anesthesia recovery evaluation.”

Malpractice lawsuit against abortionist Taida Wolfe and the Philadelphia Women's Center abortion clinic. On Dec 16, 2014, Lakeyshia Moody went to the Philadelphia Women's Center for a second-trimester abortion. Dr. Taida Wolfe botched the abortion and perforated Lakeyshia's uterus. Lakeyshia's complications were so severe that she had to go a hospital for a blood transfusion and an emergency hysterectomy. Lakeyshia sued the clinic and abortionist for malpractice.
